Mooze 12% is a crisp, lower alcohol spirit, distilled in small copper still batches. Our Master Distiller only uses 200 litre stills, to be able to precisely remove the heads and tails (first bit and last bit that gives you a hangover) that we don’t want in our bottles.
The water used is filtered by reverse osmosis (RO) to an exceptionally pure standard, over three times purer than Evian water.
Mooze 12% is made by redistilling our base alcohol with these 6 botanicals: Juniper, Coriander, Orange, Clementine Zest, Cucumber and Macadamia Nut, but without one overpowering the other.
There are no added sugars, sweeteners.
A regular glass of a 25ml shot of Mooze 12% and 50ml of slimline tonic, contains just 18 calories, this is less calories than in a cup of celery.
You would have to drink 11x Mooze 12% and slimline tonics to equal a glass of wine or a pint of beer.

Yes, Macadamia Nuts. However, the molecules in the nuts, are too heavy to travel over the column, so this is not an allergen.

As it is not a legal requirement to add a list of ingredients to an alcoholic drink and we are choosing to always be transparent and still state everything.
We have added the nuts to achieve the ‘alcohol mouth feel’, when drinking Mooze 12%.

Mooze is 12%, contains juniper and it is made by the same process as a traditional Gin.
However it cannot be classed as Gin. The European classification of gin is that it must contain 37.5% or above alcohol and contain juniper.

We have chosen to keep everything local for our carbon footprint and our boxes are 100% recyclable, so don’t expect a glamorous box, but we wanted our product to be kind to the planet as well as your body.

In the UK, the alcohol limit for drivers is 80mg of alcohol. To put this more clearly, this allows a man of average height to drink as many as 4 units of alcohol (equivalent to 2 pints of normal strength beer) and an average women 3 units (equivalent to a large glass of average strength wine).
A 25ml measure of Mooze 12% contains 0.3 units. So for example, 4 glasses of this would equate to 1.2 units, still half of the recommended levels for women before driving (3 units).
Please be aware that we do not encourage Drinking and Driving. There is no fool-proof way of drinking and staying under the drink drive limit. The amount of alcohol you would need to drink to be considered over the driving limit varies from person to person. You must know your limits.
Let’s compare a glass of 25ml Mooze 12% & Tonic which is 0.3 units:
A regular (37.5%) Gin & Tonic, for example, is 0.9 units, so 3 times more.
A large glass of White Wine is 3.3 units.
A large glass of Red Wine is 3.2 units.
A glass of Prosecco is 1.5 units.
A pint of Beer is 3 units.
We recommend keeping Mooze 12% in the fridge, once opened. Like any alcoholic drink, it is best stored away from light and heat, as this disperses the alcohol in the drink. Do not store in the freezer.

All orders placed before 1pm on Monday to Friday and 10am Saturday, should arrive by Royal Mail Track Postage within 48 hours. Please note we do not deliver on Bank Holidays including Christmas.
If our supply of the product is delayed by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. We will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay, you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund, please read our returns and refund policy by clicking here.
If no one is available at your address to take delivery and the products cannot be posted through your letterbox, our delivery agent may leave you a note informing you of how to rearrange delivery or collect the products from a local depot.
If, after a failed delivery to you, you do not re-arrange delivery or collect the Products from a delivery depot, we will contact you for further instructions and may charge you for storage costs and any further delivery costs. If, despite our reasonable efforts, we are unable to contact you or re-arrange delivery or collection then we may end the contract. The product will be your responsibility from the time we deliver the product to the address you gave us or at the arranged delivery location.
